WNC Whites v BCS U19 team

On a beautiful Saturday afternoon in Perdiswell, a select team came together to have a friendly with the British Colleges Sport U19 elite squad for 2013.
The visitors are selected from their colleges across Britain for their talent and athleticism in netball and train together from January through July playing teams such as U21 Scotland and Wales as well as competing in international competitions.

It was an exciting game of 6 x 15mins, where various formations were tried by Steve Mcleod (coach) and a few times we were able to out perform. However the visitors got the better of us overall and finish with an impressive lead!

Well done to the team
Cathy Bedney, Becky Sweet,Hayley Rudd,Andrea Campbell Jackson, Sophie, Carly Nutt,Carla Jones, Katie Reeves,Lauren Hastead,Emma Livett  and Chloe Crean

and many thanks to the umpires
Donna McLeod and Helen Danks
