Worcester Netball Officers host the South Africa Team
On friday 27th sept England netball played their final test against South Africa Netball in the University Arena, Worcester.
Behind the scenes Worcester Netball Club, became the Team liaison officers for the international team for their 3 day stay in the city.
Becky Atkins, Sam Rudd and Nicolle Rudd greeted the ladies in their hotel at the Whitehouse on thursday afternoon before escorting them to training at the Arena.
During the Friday they helped supply Physiotherapy tables, water bottles, cooler bags, ice bath and food arrangements supported by the Hotel and the University.
It was a wonderful 3 days to be able to support an international team and help them feel settled and comfortable in our city.
The Head Coach was very grateful of the time and effort that the club gave to the team and both parties hope to keep in touch for future events.

Other members also volunteered including on game night to sell programmes, and it was lovely to see so many members in the crowd, try to spot some!!

England Netball won the test series 3 - 0
