Netball Youth Camp
in its 3rd year at the arena , run by Worcester Netball and Netfirst coaches held at Worcester Arena. This year we have split ages and now have 7-10yr olds tues/wed and 11-14 Thursday /FridayFun sessions learning about the sport and involving leadership, attacking and defence workshops. But today became a very special day, after asking the guys on the court next door for a photo, the camp could not have expected to have been invited for an hour to spend time with Team GB Wheelchair basketball Team before their trip to Rio in a couple of weeks to the Paralympics. The basketballers allowed the young girls to try out the wheelchairs playing bulldog and stuck in the mud then had a game of basketball with them.Team GB were inspiring to be with and Worcester Netball wish them all the very best at the games! |
