ENGLAND NETBALL AFFILIATIONS 2019/20
The affiliation process is now active for the 2018/19 season.
Please see below this years affiliation amounts.

Sorry for the delay. Thank you for your patience, we have been in discussions with England Netball about the new process.
This year EVERY PLAYER has to fill out the new online form from England Netball.
The Form is attached. Please complete it online using the drop down options. Save the email (with an electronic signature) and your name in the document description and email back to Affiliation.wnc@gmail.com
Our preferred method of payment is BACS (details below). We can accept cheques posted to Claire Sanders. 2 Eastleigh, Leigh Sinton, Mavlvern, Worcester, WR135 DA with the player and age group clearly written on the back.

When you have been affiliated, you will receive an email from England netball to confirm. If you do not receive email within 1 week of sending payment and email to me then please contact me.
All payments and forms are required before you will be affiliated. Please ensure all affiliation is competed by the 31st August to ensure you can play at the start of the season in September.

Performance Squads - please pay your affiliation asap as we need to complete your affiliation a week before tournaments on 1st September
Social League players - your captains will be contacting you this week to ask your availability for the winter season, please send forms and fees asap
Juniors - training times, venues and any playing teams will be informed shortly.

Worcester Netball Club is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the well being of all its members. The club believes that it is important that members, coaches, administrators and parents associated with the club should, at all times, show respect and understanding for the safety and welfare of others. Therefore, members are encouraged to be open at all times and to share any concerns or complaints that they may have about any aspect of the club with
Sam Rudd, chairperson or Ruth Mather Hutchinson club Safeguarding Officer.
As a member of Worcester you are expected to abide by the following club rules:
• All members will be required to complete a Affiliation/ members form preseason and in the required timescale and make the club / coach aware of any medical conditions
• All members must play within the rules and respect officials and their decisions.
• All members are responsible for complying with league regulations
• All members must respect their opponents.
• Members should keep to agreed timings for training and matches or inform their coach or team captain if they are going to be late. Failure to attend training sessions may result in not being selected for the next match.
• The club will endeavor to provide safe training facilities and H&S checks will be carried out on both the facilities and the equipment. Each club member is responsible for their personal H&S and should report any concerns to a committee member.
• Members must wear suitable club kit for training and match sessions, as agreed with the coach/team captains. No jewellery or sharp/long nails allowed at training.
• Members must pay training fees within 2 weeks of the term start date. Failure to pay fees may result in non-selection for match play or exclusion from training sessions.
• Members are responsible for purchasing their own kit. This is usually ordered by a club member and should be paid for in advance via the website. At the committees discretion kit no longer required may be purchased back at a reduced rate and sold onto an incoming member.
• Members are not allowed to smoke on club used premises or whilst representing the club at matches.
Members are not allowed to consume alcohol or drugs of any kind on the club used premises.
Club fee for 2016/7 is £20 payable by all members youth, senior and 2nd affiliated members
Cost we cover as a club:-
Presentation night £500 ( this would cover trophies however ticket sales and raffle would cover DJ, venue, food)
Social membership £13 per person for none netball playing volunteers approx £78
League entry WCNL £30 x 13 = £780
League entry Bromsgove £40 x 5 = £300
Tournament i.e stewart venrnal £30 x 6 = £180
Pontins deposits £225
First aid £300
Team Bibs £60
DBS checks appox 5 per year £60
CPD course approx 4 per year = £100
Coaches t-shirts x 3 £36
Committee expenses including printing and administration £300 approx
Coaches travel @ 25p per mile ( tewkesbury to worc, walsall, worc to stou, stour to wor & walsall )£800
Umpires courses £40 x 3 £120
Balls £300
totalling over £4100 to run the club
Fundraising is a necessity please help!
